 Just received card in post to say parcel/letter was waiting at the local sorting office as the sender had not put enough postage on the letter for it to be delivered.

Arrived there with my £1.75..to find the letter was from Mazda, a circular, the clerk said did i want it or not as she had already taken back several that day.

Anybody else had this problem....

My sorting office is in Bury...

not had one from mazda but am often receiving the postman's note to say "you were out so collect....etc"

i never bother collecting from post office as any money owed by customers is always paid by cheque or bank & anyone else should know better & if it's important, they will write again.

does that meke me a miserable old git? i don't care.......

Last year I got an unstamped letter from my bank - paid for it at the post office, then wrote back to them claiming £23.70 to cover the cost, travel expenses, loss of earnings and admin charges etc etc

Guess what - they paid it without quibble ! Result !

Maybe worth a try with Mazda ?
