 Just havin' a rant, gotta get it out my system!

Why are we paying nearly £200 a year in road tax to ruin our wheels and suspension?

I can deal with it slightly more on a' roads but holy s**t i use the m4 daily and it's a joke. I actually sit in the middle lane until the last minute before i exit at j5 because i almost take off over the potholes on the inside lane, is this part of a government conspiracy to make us all buy 4x4's? or is it another way to limit our speeds?

I'm thinking of petitioning downing street to cut my road tax to cover the price of four new shocks and alloy wheel refurbs!

While i'm ranting, wassup with the price of petrol!? I own a car with one of the smallest petrol tanks in the world and it costs nearly double the amount to fill it up now as it did 2 years ago when i bought it!!!

Anyway sorry about that but i feel better now!

 To help you with your rant have a read of the Daily Mail today to see how we are being ripped off by everyone, even coffee is up more than 40% never petrol etc.

Remember the Government have a vested interest in high prices of most products as they then get more revenue in the form of taxes. I don't want to get into this anymore or I'll probably have a heart attack as I get so angry about being ripped off and waste..

How big is the club? Maybe a lobby here?

My Council claimed in the local paper to have twice as many pot holes this year as last.  But they also said than on priority routes in the town they would attend to them in 24 hours.!  So the next day to put that to the test I reported some on a roundabout on a priority route I use every day which had been getting worse for a month or so.  And low and behold, they came and they filled some of them in the same day I had reported them.  However they only did some of them, and left a load more a few feet away to get a bit worse! 

So pot holes are getting attended to, but doing it that way then it will take for ever! Even more frustrating is about 500 yards along the road they are doing some roadworks to widen the road slightly, and they have managed to carry on with that.  So why not cancel that work (as its pointless anyway) and send that team down the road to sort out the potholes and then when they are done move on to the next lot..
