    Leather on mk3.5

Just looking at the Mazda site and noticed something. For some reason they have removed the option of getting leather in the soft top version unless it's a 2.0 Sport (which has leather as standard). You can specify leather as an opton in the RC. They seem have have made more effort in seperating the soft top from the hard top version. Personally, I think the roof alone does that job

I have the mk3 which has the combined option of climate control and heated leather, which for me are both fantastic features as I use the car all year round

Agree, they are trying to make the Soft-Top a 'Poverty' model.

The Superlight is a concept only model. Mazda Europe came out with a load of rubbish that they used a 1.8 base model, to promote "lightness" and simplicity. The truth is more prosaic; they used a car that had fallen off a transporter (rendering in unsellable), and it happened to be a 1.8.

It has alloy wheels though, so you won't like it.
