    Re: Brighton run

He sure is, although I have no idea why details arent posted here, but basically we will meet at ockham as usual at 9am on 18th Jan.

    more details are here... http://mx5oc.co.uk/forum/forums/t/1073.aspx

Im sure Bob will be along soon to post something in the areas event sections, but I know he's been rather busy at work recently and also had some problems with posting to the new forum.

Anyway hope to see a few new and old faces on 18th!

That's right on pretty much all fronts.  Hope to be having a catch up with club admin at the weekend.

    Brighton run 18th January 2009 - Details

Doesn't look like I'll be getting to post this in the Area Events section any time soon, so here are the details....

Here’s your chance to escape the sales and the January blues, get together with like-minded people and, with luck, enjoy a drive down to the coast in crisp winter sunshine.   We will meet at Ockham Common Visitors Centre, Boldermere Car Park, Old Lane, Cobham, Surrey, KT11 1ND.  This is on the A3 just south of Junction 10 of the M25 (you have to approach it from the slip road off the roundabout of the A3/M25 junction). Get there from 09:00 with the aim of leaving at 10:00. In the car park is ‘Ockham Bites’ who can turn out a mean bacon or sausage buttie.  If you want breakfast, then arrive early as it takes time for the one person on duty to cook to order.  Clean toilets are also available. From here we’ll be driving down to Brighton for a spot of fish & chips by the sea.  Wrap up well!

Let me know if you will be coming along so that I can pre-warn the snack bar.

Hi Bob, North Thames are up to 10 cars so far and numbers are still coming in.
Start praying for dry sunny weather.  Looking forward to an event even better than last year.

Are you starting a list so we know how many are going????Big Smile

Hmmm, no pressure then Hmm  I don't think we can expect to get parking like last year - that was exceptional!

I've started a list on my 'Details' posting, but this forum doesn't seem to let me have a list down the page like the old one used to Sad
