Afternoon everyone.

I'm happy to let you all know that we've been given the chance to take part in the Rougham Air Show & Classic Car & Bike Show on Sunday 15th August 2010. This is a new event for the Eastern Region, and also something a little different with the addition of the air show. It would be great to have a good display to show-off our cars and the club.

The day includes a magnificent air display from war birds to fast jets, classic cars and bikes of all makes and models, craft and trade stands. More information on the day can be found here : ROUGHAM SHOW

The price per car and two people is £10.00. Normal price to the public just for the Sunday is £26.00, so there is quite a saving to be had.

If you would like to take part in this new event please CLICK HERE to download the entry form. Please complete the form and send payment direct to Rougham Estate Farms. Please can you reply to this post if you have registered to attend so we have an idea of numbers attending. We have been asked that payment is sent by mid-June latest please. I know this hasn't left a great deal of time, but this event will certainly be worth it.

We will arrange various runs to the event so that we can all arrive together. Exact times will be confirmed before the day.

By the way, on the booking form ignore the 'Must be pre 1975' and the part about public liability insurance.
They are more than happy to have us come along and join in, and the insurance part is nothing for you all to worry about.

Just a couple of quick questions:-

Will we all be together on a club stand (a la Hemingham)?

Will the 9-5 rule be strictly enforced? (not a problem, we just need to be prepared for a long day)

Is there a limit to the number of cars on the stand Ady?

Robbie, there are no limits on numbers we can have so there's no excuse for most of the Eastern Region not to be there.
With regard to whether we're going to have an 'actual stand' and the 9-5 rule, i'm just waiting to hear back. I'll let you know as soon as I do.

I've just had confirmation from Rougham that we will indeed have a proper stand, and although they would prefer us not to move the cars until 5pm (due to health & safety with the public), if one or two members really did need to leave before 5pm they could arrange this on the day no problem.
