Summary of Meeting on 26^th May  2010

Lee was ill and could not attend but advised us that the Owners Club had given us a shelter/gazebo to be used at outside events.

Barley Mow

It was great to see a full room and to welcome new faces. As the next meeting is mid summer we thought it would be good to hold it outside on the common opposite the pub, but this is subject to the weather so a final decision will be made nearer the time.

As at the last meeting, holidays and Fathers Day meant it was difficult to find a Sunday that suited the majority. It was agreed that this month would be left open for spontaneous outings, so if anyone is going out on a drive they can use the Forum and contact list to let others know.

Monthly Runs

It was decided that we would have a monthly run on the first Sunday of each month as it’s easy for everyone to remember and not long after our meeting, so the next one is set for 4^th July. Everyone wants a trip to the seaside and North Wales, possibly Llandudno was suggested. The final decision will be made at the meeting in June.

Another suggestion for a summer run was a picnic in a park or by the river – possible venues being Stourport, Ellesmere, Rudyard Lake, Sutton Park.

As it is difficult to predict the weather it was agreed we all would like to make the most of any sunshine and runs could be suggested throughout the month and would be organised by email and the forum.

Evening Runs

To make the most of the Summer Nights it was suggested we organise evening runs finishing with a bar meal, perhaps arranging to meet up with other areas in the region.

National Rally – Chatsworth – 18^th & 19^th September

It was suggested the shelter/gazebo could be used as a meeting point.

Thanks to the Mexicans for efforts put into summary well done.

Need get another run sorted soon. Meeting the NWM was excellent they are coming back to staffs in August toThe Holly bush Inn at Salt. There coordinator has invited us to join them should we wish to do so will bring details to next meet

still a bit poorly, but getting better! the rest of the bits are all on order, so if he can get them on in time, I'm going to try and get her MOT'd Sat morning or Monday, keep everything crossed.......

Maybe a deliberate mistake to get someone to respond to forum !!!!

Took Kezzie to lovers leap but could not lift er over the fence !!! 

went Ilfracombe weekend really was lovely be good Mazda run stop over night !!
