Has anyone received an area newsletter with STHT this month ?

Has anyone seen our Area Co-ordinator ?

Seems that our efforts to help build the region are a waste of time if old monthly meetings are still being advertised in STHT as being at the Wolsley Bridge !

Has anyone heard from our illustrious "co-ordinator" over the last month ?

I haven't heard from Lee for a while.  And there is definitely no newsletter as just checked the printers submission list.  Have you tried giving her a call on the good old fashioned telephone ?

Last time I heard was when she asked me to change website to Barley Mow, 24 April, not a peep since.

 nothing with mine- I've even been and checked the recycle bin incase I chucked it by accident!! but no, nothing there.

 don't lose heart Mark, I'm sure enough people must read these threads to know where we are (I found you didn't I !!)

Dont know how contact Area coord many people said try phone never get answer ??? email never get answer ?? forum coord never goes on ??? meeting rarely goes ??? drives out never goes ??? would go on new website set up by cood but cant there is not one ??? 

Maybe MX5 owners know they sent the marque will make enquiry tomorrow sad to let this region down when just picking up well !!

It's so disappointing after everyones efforts, that the magazine still shows as meeting at the Wolsley Bridge, when we haven't done so since March ! and apparently, we've only had one run out ! When we've actually had several trips to various places, but unfortunately for those who only read the magazine, we must come accross as a fairly inactive region. In Lee's absence a few of us are desperately trying to improve the momentum of the region, and i'm struggling to see why it's our responsibility to try and track down " Our Co-ordinator" !

This is just getting too frustrating !

All we can assume is that the current AC has some sort of problem preventing them from carrying on as we would all like.  The more of us who try to get in touch the better, you folks probably know Lee better than I do, I've met her the once, and she was dead keen then.  The Club has no more contact information than you guys do.  I will try phoning as well at the weekend, as emails seem to be no good at the moment.

What I would ask however is for you all to carry on.  Its the members who make the meets and events so as long as you stick with it, then it will still work.  We obviously need a bit of time to see what's happened and then come up with a plan to put things back on the rails. We may of course be looking for a new volunteer AC. ?

It is very clear the Co Ordinator (Lee) has lost faith and interest and the NWM needs to act quickly if there already diminished group is to survive, does seem incredible that a newly formed group does not have an active leader and the members are leading for themselves.

How are the co ordinators elected or is it simply someone volunteers. I tried emailing Lee a couple of months ago to enquire about the group but got no reply, how many other members are being lost due to lack of communications.

Decide amongst yourselfs who is going to be the AC, after getting an answer from the present incumbent as to her intentions, then tell Martin. Someone needs to step up to the plate PDQ or the area will go down the proverbial tubes. Remember that you guys are the area, not the AC---
