Time [O] Past ER Event - The Big ER Weekender - 31st July *route now added*

Norfolk is the host for this years Big ER Weekender!

Starting with a fabulous run from the Thetford area around the county from our resident "Run-Meister" Steve Hider, we will move on to a brand new venue at the Angel PH at Larling near Snetterton. Come along for the the drive, stay for a BBQ (bring your own food) or go the whole hog and camp as well.

There are full Camping Facilities there with Shower Toilets etc, all for only £10 for a 2 person pitch!

Camping here has one or two distinct advantages, Restaurant for those who like refinement (early booking required), permission to BBQ on site for those who to rough it, and Beer on tap!

The meet will be Sainsbury's Thetford at 9:30 am  for the run through Norfolk

We will arrive mid-late afternoon at the Angel to get settled for an evening of fun and frolics, and did I mention beer?

The following morning we intend to have a short run through to Goody's farm shop on the A140 for breakfast, Yum Yum

Anyway we need to give the angel an idea of numbers, so please indicate if you would like to come long, camping or not

    See you there!

    Attendees

    1. Jamie (Drive & Camping)
    2. Robbie (Drive & Camping)
    3. Neil (Drive & Camping)

Route details are now available here.

Please print off and bring you own copy.

The start point is Sainsbury's / McDonald's Carpark, London Road, Thetford IP24 3QL.  Please be there from 9.30am for 10.00am sharp departure.

Well i'm not the kind to kiss and tell, but i've been seen in a mk2......

Cool, that sounds a great event!

Count Emma, Thomas, William and myself in for that one - drive and camp - and food - and beer (me only for the dirty beer probably!)

The Angel is a great real ale pub (my usual Snetterton track day finale!).

St Georges English Whisky distillery is just down the road and if you are contemplating a BBQ then also pile on down to FL Edge Butchers in East Harling!

Hey we're on the list even before I put a post up , now that's what I call efficency Mr Tink {#emotions_dlg.thumb}...

Could really do with numbers of all attending  the run so I can notify Waveney Farm Shop of how many to expect for morning coffee.

There are two stops on the run for supplies for the BBQ and Beer etc ( Coop and Tesco).

Run details to follow very shortly.

Looking forward to seeing you all

    Mandy ,Tori and Steve.

Run details and approx timings would be great please Steve - Emma has to split off at some point to take Wills to a birthday party but should be able to easily as I think you are meandering somewhere around the Wortwell, Homersfield & Alburg viscinity?!

I also have an MX5 in my friendly Wortwell garage having a new front wing and door and entire side refettled and painted so I may well stop off to see if that is finished too!

What time are you aiming to arrive at the campsite/pub?

    Cheers, Ian

Sorry the run details have taken a bit of time to appear, had to do some last minute changes with tea stops etc.

All ETA's are approx but I hope it helps, look forward to seeing you on Saturday...

Re: Next ER Event - The Big ER Weekender - 31st July

Just one small problem at first glance Steve - as Emma dutifully pointed out, the road from the Pulhams to Harleston is closed just before the bridge at Starston!

I have a nice quiet single track road diversion from Pulham St Mary to the Redenhall roundabout if you are interested??

    Regards, Ian
PS - complete tangent but Martin - we need an iPhone app for the forum or at least a way to be able to post as it simply doesn't work (use of flash?)
