I've been reading the "What irrtates you ... " thread, and I'm surprised and delighted by the amount of venom it generated.
In a similar vein, keeping in mind that we drive a car aimed squarely at people who love driving, which cars do we think appeal to those who don't like driving? What cars do those irritating drivers use to irritate us?
To get the ball rolling, I offer the Nissan Micra, preferably in sage green.

Volvos - any Volvo...
Then there are Saabs for fast Volvo drivers...
Primeras and most types of Merc for the middle lane hoggers - and I'm going to have to say it, at the risk of being moderated - the majority of whom, shall we say, have a different ethnic background to the Anglo-Saxon...

I'm gonna go back a little................
The Austin Metro, particularly in Beige. Can you imagine, a few years ago, walking into a BL dealership (this is bad enough in itself!) and with a loud and steady voice saying "I would like to purchase a metro 1.0 please.". This alone should render the would be purchaser liable for detention at Her Majesty's pleasure. But then just when you think that is can't get worse......... The nutter says "I would like it in beige with rust coloured interior please.". The only reason for this must be that the exterior would soon match the interior and the purchaser knows this. I thank heavens that the Govt passed a law in the early 1990's making it illegal for a UK resident to utter the words "Metro" and "Beige" in the same sentence. BL were sneaky though and changed the colour to Champagne!!!

Actually, mother served 3 years for purchasing an Amplivox Beige Lada Riva (Stalin's former Fiat). The Court decided she was going to be more a public risk than a WW2 UXB given she could not drive to save herself, and anything she hit would be instantly destroyed. The local authority sandbagged all bus shelters, children were kept indoors, Trafffic Police & Emergency Support Units were put on standby, and she was finally arrested for breaching her AutoASBO for starting the thing up. The jury found her guilty of bad taste, posing as KGB, and she eventually starred in a JB movie as Rosa Clebb after being exchanged under the Commy Bloc Car Lovers Euro Bill. As far as I know, she ended up in deepest Siberia digging salt for daring to eye up a used Allegro. The quartic wheel was regarded as blatant Western excess. She escaped, returned to the UK and bought a Morris Ital. She disappeared shortly after and has never been seen since, but the trail of components which fell off lead to a lonely pier in Northern Scotland.

The thing with rubbish drivers is that they just don't know/care enough to make a rational car buying decision. So while truely dreadful cars like Suzuki X90s are almost exclusively driven by idiots you can also get some amazing cars being driven by people who just liked the colour.
I know someone who has an M3 convertible. He bought it not because of the amazing award winning engine, or the handling, or even for top down fun. He bought it because it was the most expensive 3-series, and so it must be the best and everyone will envy him. It's driven dreadfully, and you could swap it for a 318 convertible with a body kit and he wouldn't notice.

Anyone who drive a car with daylight running lights in bright sunshine, especially the new batch of audi's and mercswith led lighis there so bright.
It's a new law - they are going to be on all new cars soon, so get used to them.

Certainly pre 06 cars with daylight running lights are tolerable but the newer batch with led lights are so much more intense and can and do blind other drivers either from behind through the rear veiw mirror or in the oncoming direction especially with the sun behind them, this is another of these very poorly thought out laws courtisy of the dumb european parlimant that thinks that there shoud be one law for the whole of the unUnited States of Europe.

The daytime running lights are less bright than headlights, and headlights don't blind people at night. I think the fact that you're noticing them is a sign that they work.
Don't get me wrong, I think dumbing things down to the lowest common denominator is to be avoided, but lots of drivers are dumb, and if this saves a few "didn't see you" type crashes then thats good.

The person who does not like driving
will end up with any car. Whilst this results in some cars that
should never exist being manufactured.
What I find you have to look out for
are the people who select there cars by stile over substance. To save
the blushes of people who own them Ill note name them, but you know
which ones they are.
Everyone is entitled to there own opinion no matter how wrong it is.
