Re: Insuring your MX5/Roadster
Didn't even realise there was a magazine to be honest......looking at some of the other benefits I think I will join then. I think Footman will probably refund the difference once I give them my membership no..
Cheers.

Re: Insuring your MX5/Roadster
How exactly am I meant to join??? I click the join now link........it asks me for my email and password...I enter them.........."a member is already registered using this email address"............yeah no **** it's me.
How exactly can I give them the mebership fee?? I would've hoped the "JOIN NOW" link would've done the trick but it's never that simple is it.......

Re: Insuring your MX5/Roadster
Just done mine, was paying £62 a month for my 1.2 clio, they upped it to £132 a month for a 1.6 mk 1 eunos :(
I tried looking elsewhere but noone would quote for under a grand.
I done a classic car insurance quote but it came out at £1900 - at the age of 22 am I too young for a classic policy?

Re: Insuring your MX5/Roadster
Renewal on my 1990 Roadster with, lowered suspension, no cat, stainless exhaust, Pipercross cone filter all declared was £165 fully comp on a 5000 mile classic policy. That was kept on drive. No claims not considered as we have 3 other cars on Admiral multicar. This was through Performance Direct.
Our other cars on Multicar are £560 for all 3. That is Audi A6 2.8 Quattro Avant Auto, 2002 MX5 1.6 Arizona and 2005 MX5 1.8 Icon. All fully comp me and my wife to drive any car. No claims on all cars. They did send us a renewal quote of £760 but 1hr 20mins on the phone (0800) got us down to the £560 we got through their online calculator. They try this game every year.
