Time [O] Past ER Event - Eastern Region Christmas Bash (Afternoon Meal) Saturday 4th December

    The Eastern Region Christmas Lunch

The Manger, Bradfield Combust, Bury St. Edmunds

    Saturday 4th December 2010 1:30pm

The original Suffolk Meet pub which is appropriately named ‘The Manger’ has been booked for this year’s Eastern Region Christmas Event.

The Manger is a traditional, intimate, cosy pub which at Christmas is beautifully decorated and boasts a roaring log fire. A perfect, festive venue for our Christmas celebrations.

The landlady has kindly given us exclusive use of the Stables Bistro Room which will be decked out with the usual festive table decorations.

This year, we have opted for a traditional 3 course Christmas Lunch, starting at 1:30pm. The cost starts from only £17.95 per person.

The menu can be downloaded here and details the starter, main and dessert options.

We will require menu choices and payment in advance; cash, cheques payable to R Marsh or by paypal for £18.60 (£19.60 if opting for cheese and biscuit dessert) which includes paypal fees to roadsterrrobbie at btinternet.com by Sunday 14th November.

If you would like to dine at ‘The Manger’ please reply to this thread and then e-mail your menu choices to Robbie at robbie at mx5 eastern region.co.uk.

For those of you who want to make a night of it, you may wish to stay at the Ramada Hotel which is a short taxi ride away from The Manger. They can offer a room only basis for £57.50 or a double room with breakfast for £72.95 (these prices will increase as room availability decreases).  Please make your own accommodation reservations.

Keep an eye on this tread for up to date information as the festive plans develop.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 4th December.  Have More Fun at The Manger with the Eastern Region this Christmas!

Will ask the question, can't see it being a problem. Would they want starter, main & desert?

Just booked in to the Ramada.

Special Winter B&B offer of only £55 for a twin/double room bed & breakfast.

We're off to Sutton Hoo on the Sunday, so no point going all the way home.
