Worst kept secret of the last few years...  and presumably when and if TG returns we will get a new Stig again.. question is, what colour ?

tbh i thought this was widely know by a couple of years ago...can't believe the media storm it is kicking up (on second thoughts,maybe i can).

Maybe they'll just stick collins in a new colour suit?

 They might be looking for a new Stig, so if I don't post much for a while, well ... duty calls.

 Well in these days of equality, what about a Stigess. But who...V.B.H. that laugh would give it away.

Good idea. How about Vanina Ickx, or one of the other DTM/LM female drivers?

 Cars? Stig-etts? Who cares!

Thought there was more than one person that was the Stig.

How about Sabine Smit as the new Stig.

 While we're at it, how about replacing the "Star in a reasonably-priced car" with "complete non-entity in a Japanese classic British sports car" ?

Trouble is, I'm not sure Clarkson would enjoy the idea quite so much.  Unless of course we can find a load of 5 owners who look like Cameron Diaz... ;-)

 I see that Ben "Stig" Collins (renowned for his fast, aggressive driving) was born in, and currently lives in, Bristol. My albeit limited experience of that great and gallant city suggests that he moonlights as a taxi driver.  

Pretty sure he wasn't the only Stig driver on Top Gear recently - some of the so-called Stig laps looked very odd indeed - awkward, slow and unprofessional.
