    'Simply Mazda' Beaulieu, July 10th

We now have approval for Club stands and parking areas (you don't need to know what was on offer before) so all Mazda Clubs are invited to attend this event. As the biggest Club - not just in the UK - I would like to see a really good attendance at this, while it's not offcially a Club Event, we will get support from Wessex Area, who are supplying their area gazebo and local members who will be your Club hosts for the day. They will help marshal cars as you arrive on the allocated field, provide normal club back-up for new members sign-ups etc, and be most pleased if you call in and say hello (and don't forget to say "Thank you" either!) I have been advised that if there is a large enough attendance, then we may get a Club marquee as well, the main purpose of this would be to sell small merchandise items. At least one local dealer has expressed an interest in attending, there may be more. Traders are hard to interest, fortunately Autolink have already booked with Beaulieu, MX5Parts have declined (and as far as I'm concerned I understand their position), MX5 Heaven have also declined, I'm still waiting to hear from Megiuars and another trader. I expect other Clubs will ask their dedicated traders, but rotary parts etc aren't much use to us. If I can get more MX5 traders, then I will add them to this list. While it's just a thought at the moment, we are hoping Mazda can make an appearance here, but that depends on their budget, which is a bit stretched I believe. If they agree - we'll tell you!

Admission prices: All Mazda cars are allowed in at a discounted rate - £10 p.p. instead of the normal £16 p.p. rate. Children between 5 and 17 - £5. Children below 5 - free. Non Mazda cars - full rate £16 p.p. My advice is, book your tickets before you go, I'm not expecting problems at the gate, but if you haven't bought tickets in advance, then there might be a problem. Booking information is this:

Log onto this URL - https://www.beaulieushop.co.uk/  click on 'Events' and on the drop down click on Simply Mazda 2011, then place your order. For groups (friends or areas) if you order twenty tickets, you can get two free, but I suggest you phone that order in, as not sure this will work online. This applies to multiples of ten - i.e. buy thirty tickets and you get three free. Phone ordering: 01590 612888 You need to tell them which Club you are in, and how many cars, and they will send you a CLUB CAR sticker for each car, if you've already booked (as some have) or order online, then please read the info here,  http://www.mx5oc.co.uk/forum/forums/p/26481/183121.aspx#183121  which has been updated.

Non-Club members - you can get in as long as you drive an MX5, or another type of Mazda, but unfortunately we can't accomodate you on the Owners Club parking area, you will have to park with 'Other Cars' as directed by Beaulieu stewards. Sorry about this - it's not my decision. Mazda ownership still qualifies you for the discounted price.

Club Members - I'm posting in the dedicated club area of the forum further info about this event. (Members Discussion) - use it!

See Here - http://www.mx5oc.co.uk/forum/forums/p/26481/183121.aspx#183121 Please tick the vote box if you are going - I need a car count!

This information will be in Aprils edition of STHT, so you get it early!

Sorry - missed this bit re admission -

Admission to the event includes entry to the whole Beaulieu attraction; the National Motor Museum and World of Top Gear, Palace House and gardens and Beaulieu Abbey.

Five is Alive 2002 Mk2.5 Sport, with added Mazda body kit, 15 inch Rota Circuit 8 with Toyos, rescued wood rim steering wheel from a crashed Arizona. Air intake mods to come (one day!) Hard Dog Deuce rollbar. and HT (permanent fixture!) - Its still a sportscar.

Someone's not ticking the vote count, we need the number of cars going, or intending to go, so we can book spaces - and stand size. Thank you!  See Here -
