Ermmmmmmmmmm wer'd every one go!

Met up, chatted, we all set off.and thats the last I saw of 24 other 5's

Still the run to Abergaveny, following one other 5, was nice if a little lonely.

After Aber, I found myself on the Merthyr road and closer to home than Usk.

Hope dinner was good.

 Remind me not to join in any magic tricks with you Dowot, I like to know where I am

Should make an interesting story finding out what happened, are you volunteering to lead any runs this side of the bridge?

Hiya mate, I know what you mean the lead cars took off like a Le Mans start and a lack of communication meant there was very little chance of staying on their tail........

Me and several other cars got separated in Caerleon and ended up meeting the high-speed snake at the Gwent police headquarters roundabout, most of the cars had a short break in the Abergavenny car-park then without a whole lot of warning, the Le Mans guys fired up again and another high speed persuit started with just a few cars in the initial convoy and everyone else following some minutes back.

The actual run was well planned and a good route on a few roads I had never used (and some that I still have never used)

Lunch was fabulous @ the Kings Head in Usk, seems a large contingent had booked for lunch at the Usk Conservative Club and that this had seemed to cause some confusion with our bookings there and an un-certainty as to whether the Con Club would be able to accomodate everyone and a decision was made at Wednesdays` SWMX5OC meeting at the Grove in Porthcawl that we would have to book an aternative venue for the lunch because of this un-certainty over numbers they couls accomodate. Don`t know what the Con Club lunch was like compared to the Kings Head?

Shame you got separated, you certainly were not alone

Caerleon? You went there? Where was that on the page of instructions?

Looking at the map, seems I was lost from about the 0.3 mi point!

Not sure who I was following, but they turned right onto the B4598 and took the direct route to Abergavenny.

So nobody else saw the windmill?

That valley road was great, be even better when they resurface it, theres a wonderful bridge over the river.

Sorry I missed the admentment to eating venue, thought all the meal tickets had gone.

Oh well heres to next time....gona fix a tracking device to that leading car though.

Magic tricks...I'm good at making money dissapear!

I knew all alone where I was. Behind the wheel of a 5. (Does that make me a nut?)

Path, garden, leading, up.....ring any bells.

Not looking too good for the run to Silverstone on the 27th, must admit.

 OK I have no idea, suppose I need to read the instructions, which may the reason I got lost and the wardrobe never got finished.

 Hi Buddy, some of us saw the windmill and nice bridge but that was on the way back from Abergavenny, oh dear, seems you may have followed the google map backwards-they went that-a-way down to Caerleon, across to Cwmbran (some of us got lost there and went on M4 then back-up towards Aber then met them coming from the right at the cop-shop HQ in Cwmbran, THEN Abergavenny then back past the windmill and to the various eateries for lunch in Usk.

Pierre was looking for you in Aber..

Hope that sorts out the confusion? To be honest I nearly lost the leaders of the run and I do quite like to pop along a bit.....

 Help,Eira & I are still on the Usk run, wacky races comes to mind, we are new to all this, but didn,t realise it was a race. Beautiful weather wonderful scenery, saw the windmill, and thought we really have gone the wrong way now and returned to Usk. The colour of the lead car [yellow] only saw it briefly when the maps were handed out, then saw it disappear out of the car park, and never saw it again!

My wife even phoned Tina [Dr Eunos Wife] requesting the mobile number for Dr Eunos whom I once followed for a millisecond prior to getting lost!! He was in Abergavenny and we were back in Usk!! It reminded me of the film ET when he wanted to get back home. Had a good laugh, thinking of buying a motor bike for the next run when we get back from Usk.

You got that "new central heating", ie fire in the middle of the room?

Maybe the lead car should throw out scrap paper as they go, a la a paper chase?

Wrong way, I wonder if that accounts for the solo MX I saw heading towards Aber as I left?

Taff. Yes Pierre got hold of me, I did not have his mobile otherwise I would have asked where he went to.

Note to self...in future read the instructions before starting the motor.

 Still in Usk, reading the instructions, think we got it now, on to Abergavenny ................

i was one of the threecars that started to follow you the wrong way from Usk but two of us have radios (popular amongst SWM OC) and decided to about-turn. We were able to say to Snurfy that it seemed wrong but he opted to take the other scenic route with you guys.
If we'd been able to communicate with you and say "TURN AGAIN WHITTINGTON" we would have.
We then had fun playing catch up and found ourselves behind a different three who'd explored the M4 at some point.

Thanks for your concern, cried with laughter after reading all the comments. Don't worry now living in Usk, such is life. Had the map upside down, after our meal in Usk and the MX race felt very tired. we both went for a stroll to clear our heads,still confused then  met a nice man. After talking to us both he quickly came to the conclusion we needed help, why I will never know!!!! We are now living in  Usk "The Twilight Home For Confused Mx Drivers".

However, the food and accommodation is excellent with regular injections and lots of TLC we should survive and hopefully make the next race.

When I bought the Mx I never realised this would happen, no warning came with the car!!!!!!!!!!!!1
