    Re: Daves Latest Roadster

Snap on the lights, I got some too, and I agree, much much better. All I need to complete is a clear centre brake light but £48 is the best price I've found one for.

A little late, but I love your instrument cover thingy, looks really good with the wheel and the other cover thingies you've installed.

Not a fan of the the clear brake light myself. Prefer clear lights / reflectors on the front & red reflectors etc on the rear.

Stick a couple of wanted adverts up, i`m sure some one will have one.

Yeah I see your point of view. I just went the black"lexus" style route so I think a red one looks odd. Clear or black ( half the price of clear! ) are the options but I think black might look a little odd. Oh decisions!

    Re: Daves Latest Roadster

Managed to get a couple of little jobs done today inbetween the showers!

Thinking of changing my daily driver so swapped my personal number plate from the daily to the 5 with an offset bracket. Nice bonus to find NO holes in the bumper when i removed the old front plate that was held on by sticky pads  :D

Added another piece of Jass Performance brushed stainless bling to the interior.

I must have been sooooo unlucky to have 5 mahooosive holes in my bumper where the plate was attached! I think they look lovely with no plate in the centre, and yours is testement to that.

I also really like that interior bling switc surround...must not get tempted. MUST not.

I wouldn`t look at his website either if i were you!

    http://www.jassperformance.com/

He`s got a few nice bits coming soon like a gear lever surround & low profile headlights. His TSIs are tempting too!

Wow Dave...........just read all 4 pages of this thread and your car is looking luverly.

I've still had no luck with a Mike Satur yet (gives me time to consider whether to go for black or chrome-I've got a black car with plenty of chrome inside!). Been offered a coupla black ones but not in great condition.

Can't wait to see what you do next to your car. Thumbs up

    Re: Daves Latest Roadster

Well i nabbed the spare instrament cowl from Tattoo Ron`s & Matt Pantera`s track car & treated myself to a leather cowl cover from Top Gaiters on Ebay.

Nick (The Captain) kindly offered to fit the leather for me as no doubt i would have made a pigs ear of it!

Fab job Nick. Thanks buddy  Salute

Fitted!..... White stitching as per steering wheel & gaiters  Big Smile

Felt it was time for a change so picked up a nice set of BBS alloys & fitted them today.

No doubt a bugger to keep clean but worth it in my humble opinion.

     Off with the old!

    And on with the new!

Question....Do people drill the door for the extra door pocket fixing screw or leave as is?
