Hey there guys, There is an Autotest event on Sunday 26th June, just opposite Llandow race Circuit. Open to all.. Rally enthusiasts, Drifters, or just people who just want a cheap bit of fun. Prices are £10.00 per car and registration is at 10 am. Hope to see yall there

Now that sounds like a plan mate, c`mon down - the motorsport price is right! Fancy a spin or two? I used to be 3 years in a row Autotest Champion of Bridgend Automobile Club, long time back

Just need a pair of 15" rear rims and tyres with thow-away tyres on. Meet me in Cowbridge @ 9.50am and we can pop up and get registered? Will bring jack and stands in case we share your tyres......

Haha, will be a shame to completely burn them, they're practically new bridgestones, but I'd rather them than the proxes!

Only issue I have is the rims have some silly bolts that only a garage seems to have the socket for! I'll put this on my to-do list!

Im looking forward to this, doubt ill be driving as my camber is like -10 and my proxes are super warn on the inner and will need to get home after. Aint got wheels for my skid tyres yet and im off on hols on tuesday so ill def do it next time. Shall also be there with my camera so watch out y'all

I left this a bit late! It looks like I'll be coming with the new proxes, as it would work out cheaper to replace them than the bridgestones ( which turn out to be rather good- and expensive! )

Morning all,

Attended a track day yesterday at Llandow. 4 or 5 MX5's out on track. All looked fairly standard apart from a silver one which was stripped and fitted with a SD cage.

Was planning on attending the autotest today, but hangover is preventing me!

Well I just got home from competing in the autotest, what a laugh, 4 MX5s, one of them supercharged and intercooled to 260bhp, will find out the results tomorrow but a few of the runs I did felt pretty quick and am hoping to have maybe bagged fastest MX5 for the day, if not it was such a giggle anyway and a big thankyou to the guys from Welsh Counties MC for running such a great little event.

Drifting is not quickest, 148 bhp vs 260 bhp we will see soon.

Yep that's me. My mate bought it off me and got it running 174 break. Was a real good day lots of sound, lots of smoke haha. Prob my first proper autotest so thumbs up. Im normally the one taking photos with my stupidly long lens lol. Good meeting you guys, Ill keep you posted for the next on.
