 Are there any plans for the National Ralley 2011 and is anyone form the area planning to go and take part in the track day at Silverstone on the Saturday

 Hi Andrew,

Yes, there'll be a good attendance from the Area at the Rally. We generally make our own way as people want to arrive / depart at different times, especially with it being on our doorstep.

We don't have many track day enthusiasts in the area, but I suspect a few will be joining in. I normally would myself, but I'm without an MX-5 at the moment following an accident last month. Hopefully they will post here to introduce themselves. Otherwise, all members are friendly, so you'll soon get chatting with people at the event.

If you'd like to get to know a few people beforehand, the Area meets would be an excellent opportunity. See Area Events for details (the next one is this Thursday at The Clockwarehouse in Shardlow from 7:30pm)

Will the NEM group get together in a certain area on the Sunday?

Anyone thinking of the track day let me know as I am thinking of having a go

Sorry I have not been to a local evening event just that work has been a bit mad so far this year, I hope to get to the one in August

 Hi Andrew,

I'm afraid not. As we meet regularly every month we tend to mix with the rest of the club at the National Events. Once you've met people at the Area events, you tend to then bump into them as you're going around the Nationals.

I will be there on the Sunday, and plan to base myself in a specific - easy to find - spot for at least half an hour so that new members can come and say hello, and existing ones too of course! I will post nearer the time full details. I will wear my badge too!

Due to the big turnout at National Rally - over 1000 last year and the weather was bad! - it is impossible to park everyone in specific areas for each region unfortunately.

defo going on the sunday with 'er indoors and hoping to make the silverstone gig on the saturday

 Perhaps NEM members could just print themselves an A5 or A4 sheet with the letters N.E.M on and put it on their dash?

 I'm going..All being well I'll be setting off late friday afternoon or early evening.

 I am going to Sliverstone first on Saturday and then to Billing in the afternoon and camping overnight so see you there on Sunday in the Sun!!!
