First welcome to the OC    If you are on about the areas monthly runs you nead to contact the orgainisers via the cornish 5's web site. If it is the Spring Rally, you will recieve a "coathanger" in next months club mag. This gets you into Pendennis castle for the Sunday Rally. This sounds like it should be a good meeting with 5's making the journey from all over the country. We will be traveling from Malvern on the Friday and returning on Monday.

What 5 do you have.

I e-mailed our pre-registration for the Mk3 car competition on 26th February and I have still not been granted the courtesy of a reply.

Would it not be possible to at least confirm receipt of the e-mail? Also it would be nice to have the entry confirmed fairly soon, preparation of a competition car begins weeks before the event and the Spring Rally is now little more than a month away.

Your trying to hard !!, I will wash mine drive it the 352 miles in one go and prep it when I arrive.

It wins or it dosn't force of habit now as has been for the last 7 years..

I'm with you on that Alan, I'll be driving down from Surrey for a weeks holiday so won't have room for cleaning products, or indeed the time to clean the car, be turning up in it after 275 miles so if it's dirty thats how it'll be.

I assume you folks have had an email from our competitions organiser now ?  I have.

"Where are the run details ?"  I hear you ask...  well I shall tell you,  they have just arrived with me from the rally team.  The A B C and D route details will be published on here for down load in the next couple of days, and I have to say they are looking like cracking drives..

Once Martin has posted the drives I'll probably be creating TomTom itinery (.ITN) files for them, assuming they won't already be in that format.  Are there any objections to me making them downloadable here?

I would suggest that's fine, you will just need to bung your own disclaimer onto them, just in case your .ITN route ends up with "arrive at, lands end, keep heading west" and we all get wet.....

 That will be fine with Sam he loves a swim
