Hi there! new to mx5's just turning 19 and hopefully moving on from my saxo VTS (no im not a boy racer! or an idiot on the road! lol) and purchasing my first mx5 in the next couple of weeks

got my eye on a black mk1 1.8L and thought that id sign up on here for advice and help on parts e.c.t

Hope to come along on some trackdays and meets e.c.t after iv got the mx running on boost!

will put up a progress thread once iv got the car, iv got quite a few plans for it!

greetings charles  mk 1 good choice especially for purchase & spares cost. i would hate to be your age for insurance though (i'm about 97 yrs older & still stink insurance companies rip us off).  have fun..

hi there cheers, na tbh its really good on insurance! with being 18 and just having one years no claims i got a quote fully comp for £1000!
