December evening event - there won't be an "official" one!

Since the third Wednesday of December falls so close to Christmas and because there's so much else on at this time of year, we've decided that there won't be an official meeting that evening. If anyone wants to head down to the Milbury's pub at Beauworth that evening, from 7:30pm onwards, there may be some other members there, but we cannot be certain of that. Hope that's ok with everyone.

Since we have no volunteers to lead the January drive which would fall on January 1st (!) as first Sunday of the month, we will need to arrange it .... so as we'd prefer not to do a drive that day we've decided to move it to the following Sunday, the 8th! We hope everyone's happy with that. Smile  Please check on the forum for details nearer the time.

We will have a (post-)Christmas celebration on Wednesday January 18th, probably at The Milburys, but maybe somewhere else. Again, please check here for final arrangements.

In the meantime we'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy NewYear, and look forward to seeing you all again, plus more new faces, in 2012!

Please note that as the new year starts we'll be looking for vounteers to lead drives or other events every first Sunday of the month and every third Wednesday evening during the summer months (April - August). No volunteer = no event!!! We need to spread the (small) effort amongst the club members rather than relying on the regular volunteers, and us! So please think about what you can do to help.
