Re: Ma5da Racing 2012 Series ***New***
LagunablueMolly94:Is the first race next weekend, 7/8th April, at Silverstone? Hasn't been much talk of it recently and I was wondering how to go about buying tickets?
I was hoping to do similar to last year and do a big OC support thing for Ma5da Racing again, ie loads of cars and people there to cheer them on.
Sadly things seem to have got a bit more frugal and it ain't as easy as it used to be

Went to Brands last year which was very well supported by the OC.
Definitely want to go to Silverstone next weekend to watch the Ma5da Racing, but I can't find any info on admission cost or buying tickets in advance. The website seems to be aimed at providing info for competitors not spectators?

I was planning on going to this but now have a family christening to attend on the Sunday, which is fine and has to be done, so it will have to be Castle Combe for me.

Excellent day watching the Ma5da racing at Silverstone yesterday, shame about the cold & damp conditions but it certainly didn't spoil the fun. Close, competitive action.
Dodgy quality footage from Christmas cracker camera, but you'll get the idea:

Better footage showing an unlucky spinner (no 66) colliding with other cars.

And for pure self-indulgence, a picture of my car posing outside a local Silverstone school.

Re: Ma5da Racing 2012 Series ***New***
Just looked through the timings from TSL.
Looks like than had some good races in unfriendly weather.
I know one of the Rookie drivers (Nigel + Matt Garret),so was interested to see how he got on.
He finished 15th + 19th so a very good start to there season.
Thanks for posting

Re: Ma5da Racing 2012 Series ***New***
I have to say that the racing this weekend was some of the best I have ever seen - every one of the 11 Ma5da races was a cracker. The final Mk3 race on Sunday in particular - you could have thrown a sheet over the top six all race -with positions changing every corner. As they crossed the finish line the gap from First to Sixth was a fraction over ONE SECOND.
You couldn't have wished for a better advertisement for UK club racing than that.
Well done to all who competed
