If you've not heard from me then your cheque is with and/or through the clearing house or your cc payment was successful Big Smile

For those with an email, please check again Sad

What I'm glad to say though is that everyone that has applied, still has a place, twenty to go for a full house Dancing

     jon,

just a thought....in the eventuality of the 100 places possibly being over-subscribed despite the lack of the expected mad rush,  will the "name out of the hat" system still be applied ?...ie if you suddenly get 25 or 30 applications for the last 20 places at the last minute

Re: MX-5 Owners Club 'Blyton Bash' - The BIG 100

    Kev,

I've been pondering this, and we have another ad in June's STHT so that should jog a few memories and may cause a late rush.

What I hadn't expected was so many to book just Saturday, and quite a few just Sunday (I had assumed that many would just go for the full weekend, being better value). But it does mean that Sunday is quite light so hopefully I'll be able to play the overall numbers so that no-one will be left out...

To be honest mate, I'm making this up as I go along!!! If (big IF!) Louise and I do this again next year we'll be better prepared...I hope Wink But I guess it'll all depend on the success of this year...is that me setting myself up to fail?

Currently sat writing this with equal measures of excitement and downright fear Confused

Your doing a good job so far....

I would have done both days if the cash flow situation was a bit better!!

    Maybe next year.

With all the work you and Louise have put in mate its never ever gonna be a fail, you might get the odd hiccup on the day but lets face it, who but you and Louise would take on such a task. I think its going to be a great if not crowded day, trying to get to Blyton on saturday but its the wifes birthday and the MX always comes last as regards priorities but am working on it, but dont hold your breath

The club needs people like you so don't be too hard on yourself. Without commited members like yourself nothing would ever get done.

I am sure there will be a few moans and groans but this is a minority of people who just don't understand what goes into organising an event like this or any club event come to that.

You have my full vote of confidence and judging by the amount of people who have put their hands in their pockets and booked, its already an amazing success.

    Chin up and well done.
