Hi everyone,

Yes it's that time of month yet again and we shall be meeting at The Bridgehouse Hotel, Penkridge, Staffs. ST19 5AS. An area has been booked for those wishing to eat and the food will be served at 7.00pm and the meeting will commence at 8.00pm. The landlord of the pub has offered a carvery once again due to popular demand with other options. The meal will all be offered at a special price of £5.95 each.

Could we therefore kindly ask for prompt replies for those wishing to eat as well as those attending for a drink, just giving us ideas of numbers for seating. You can either reply here or by emailing me direct.

 Should be there, not eating, if only to bid a fond farewell....

Work commitments means I have no time to spare with a new role starting next week that needs 100% of my attention, so not renewing our membership in Feb.

On a positive side we are hoping to trade up Mixie the 1.6 Mk2.5 to a shiny 07/08 plate Mk3 in the next 4-8 weeks, still looking for the right car and not rushing the choosing of it. I'll be buying the Mk3 then selling Mixie privately not trading her in.

 So if anyone knows anyone who may want to buy Mixie (Reg May 02, 70k, 12 months MOT last weekend and no advisories, Pipercross filter and nearly new bridgstones all round, all belts changed last May) feel free to give me a call or pass on my details to the interested party.

Just because you're not renewing your membership Steve, doesn't mean that you still can't join in. You are both always welcome at the meetings and on our runs out. See yon Wednesday.
