Is there a decent garage in the Harlow to Stortford space that is decent with with Mx's or is it a drive down to Dandy's? Don't fancy doing the service on the auto box myself... its cold and I'm lazy. :) 

 Just as a matter of interest what does "auto box service" consist of. Apart from checking the oil level, in 6 years never done anything else to it.

Well, I really wamnt to change the fluid at some stage. Just for peace of mind, But I think I'm gonna end up doing it myself in the summer. :)

 Come to the tech day with your oil and you will find plenty of people willing to help you change the fluids.

It is usually at Super Tyres in Maldon Essex, date to be confirmed but I'm sure Eric will be along fill in the details.

The mx5 autobox is bullet proof just check oil level. A service should remove the sump & clean,change oil ,filter,& gasket. Parts will be about £90.00 . I think if oil colour & level are OK leave alone. Allan.
