Updated 29th March. - Although there is no limit on numbers attending this event we are limited to 40 for the pub lunch. Anyone putting their names down once we reach 40 will go on the waiting list in case of cancellations. 4 places left.
Don Ford has been busy planning an event for Sunday 22nd July. Before he can progress further we need to get an idea of the number of members who would be interested in attending. The proposal is to have a morning run around the countryside north of Maldon and the River Blackwater followed by a pub lunch. We will then travel into Maldon to visit the Combined Military Services Museum, where we will have coffee and a talk about the museum and it's exhibits. There will then be plenty of free time to explore the exhibits. We will then go down to Maldon Promenade Park and Quay for a beer/coffee and an evening wander along the Prom.

The Combined Military Services Museum is a little known gem and has displays on a military theme from medieval times through to the present day. Admission will be approx. £6.50 each. You can download their brochure from this link or visit their web site at www.cmsm.co.uk for more information.

As much as I would have liked to join you, life is hectic and after last weekends rain, I found myself scrubbing ground sheets and cleaning tents. Never seen mud like it, mini Glastonbury.

Have not forgot Marylins belt but am away again Wed till Sat so will miss yet another club night.

Will try to catch up before the Summer is out.
