So that's two for Banned Biker (Martin) and one for Mikey.

    Will do.

Folks please no more pre-orders, I'll just lose track of who I've promised what, plenty of pig to go around I'm sure, we've ordered a fat one!

     Jon,

Sorry if the question has been done already but can you tell me if SLICK tyres are ok on the track day (not for me as I am driving there and back) as it came up in conversation the other day with some of the guys who have dedicated track cars and trailer them up.

Slicks are fine mate, as are semi-slicks like R888 or Federal RSRs etc. Just means you'll carry more speed into the corners, but then when she lets go you'll collect more sprouts from the ajoining field Big Smile

The only thing I'd advise is they bring a set of wets or control tyres too, just in case the heavens open; slicks would be great fun for the first corner...

I know the catering on the saturday night involves a hog roast but is there a veggie option and what other food/drink is included other than the piggy.

ok Alan I'll do that then.

I'd be grateful if you could come out with me and give me some advice on lines, braking, gears etc. It'll be my first track day, so I need some good advice!

Re: Blyton Bash: queries answered here!

I have to say the Blyton Bash logo stickers is a great idea, the logo is great and being a world record attempt, I would like one of those to show my attendance, especially if we achieve the world record.

I am sure if you are hoping to get 250 plus on the track then I am sure you will be able to sell 100, I would be more worried about managing to get one......

Coming up with 2 track cars + to other MX's ............will we be able to park the non track cars near the pits as they will have all our tools etc in them?

I know we can on other circuits like Brands Hatch but never been to Blyton before.....

Re: Blyton Bash: queries answered here!

    Billyboy,

The paddock area should be big enough for 100 trackday cars, plus a few extra service vehicles, but until we get everyone in on Saturday morning I'm trying to keep the paddock down to those cars registered, ie the ones displaying the OC sticker in the windscreen that made up part of the welcome packs.

The paddock area is right next to the pedestrianised 'vendors avenue' so the less vehicles the better really.

I'm sure it'll all be fine in the end, just me worrying and over-planning Big Smile
