    STEERING WHEEL NOT STRAIGHT!!

     Hi

Have just replaced my track rod end with a after market part from Auto link, everything went back together very easily... but... now when I am going in a straight line my stering wheel is not straight, and is 10-15 degrees to the right of centre...

What can i do to get it central again? I presume my counting of turns might of been out or have rotated the track rod when tightening thing up, or the after market part is longer or shorter..

    Any suggestions.

    Thanks

Hi, You will at the very least need to get the tracking checked and adjusted by a wheel alignment specialist Thumbs up

No matter how good at counting and how similar the parts, replacing track rod ends should always be follwoed by wheel alignment/tracking. Get it done before you scrub your tyres away to nothing.

     I Agree

Just tell them when you get the tracking done that you've replaced the track rod ends and the steering wheel needs to be centralised again, this they should do no problem and jobs a goodun Thumbs up
