Headlight Motor Constantly Putting Light Up On Passenger Side

My passenger side headlight on my NA is constantly in the up position and the motor is getting very hot.  If I try to wind the headlight down manually the motor takes over and pops it back up.  I can hear a clicking in the motor about every 10 seconds.  This clicking coincides with the motor being popped back after I have wound it down manually.

    Three questions:

1 - Has my motor gone or is it and earthing issue?  I would have thought if the motor had gone it wouldn't got up or down?

2 - Where is this motor earthed?

3 - I want to unplug the headlamp motor but can't pop the connector off. Anyone know how this connector unplugs

    Any ideas?  Thanks in advance

It's possibly a faulty relay. If you have a multimeter, here is how to test it:

Thanks Jon, I'll take a look at it later.
