Run hosts Jimmy and Lisa have organised an excellent run into North Wales and another chance to visit the charity run North Wales owl sanctuary at Bryneglwys.

After last years generous donation by the members we are now the proud sponsors of two of the inhabitants, Bobo the spotted eagle owl and Gilbert the Magellan Horned Owl.

The run total is 70miles incorporating the Evo Triangle made famous by a motoring magazine EVO then onto Rhug Estate organic farm on the A5 for a brief comfort stop and then continue our journey on to the Owl Sanctuary.

The Owl Sanctuary does not open its doors to the general public as a rule but Pam, who runs the sanctuary will give us a talk/tour of the sanctuary and another chance to handle some of the birds.

This is a charity run organisation and a small donation by us all would again appreciated.

After we have visited the sanctuary we will then make our way to our Sunday lunch destination, The Plough in Llandegla, LL11 3AB 

There will be the usual excellent carvery or you can choose from their delicious menu.
