EASY Introduction to Coil Over Height Adjustment Someone!!!?

Right. I've just purchased a lovely K-Reg Eunos Mk1 V-Spec, which the previous owner has a a set of Tein Coilovers fitted.Don't ask me which kind, they're covered in road dirt etc,.. Now I'd like to take advantage of the hieght adjustment available as it looks like it sits up a little at the front and I'd like to firm up the handling as I don't mind a more firmer ride. I know there's a c-Spannner needed,. but..... Which ring turns first,.what do I unlock , which direction for lowering i.e. anti clockwise or clockwise,.? They are I think these,.. http://www.tein.co.uk/product/street_advance.html .  I know a good height is about 325mm front and 336 rear (recommended on Flyin Miata).  Presumably I should remove the wheels first to gain access, do I need to jack up?. Also if the damping is adjustable where would i find this? I know with AGX it's a turn knob on the side,.

    Any help would be great,

the lower of the two rings is the locknut and the top one is the spring platform

i think the damping adjustment (if fitted) is on the top of the damper piston so would be accesable from engine bay on tein shocks

You are going to need two c-spanners; either get hold of new spanners from Tein, or get adjustable hook spanners (Cromwell, Draper etc). Be warned; not all generic fixed c-spanners will fit properly. And, the thickness of adjustable spanners means they are awkward to use. And don't be tempted to drift the rings; you will just mash up the notches. The Tein threads are frequently rusted, so expect some cursing as you free the locking ring and spring seat ring. You will want to release the locking ring by turning it counter-clockwise; the spring perch will be corroded and sticking to it, and so will want to turn as well; get a spanner on it to stop it turning.

Thanks for your help. I found out previous owner has put Koni on Driver's side and Tein on passenger side!
