    Hey,

    I'm new to the club and have just bought my very first Mx5/classic/weekend/Japanese car lol

    Shes a 1992 Mk1 1.6 Eunos in silver, imported in 2002. Here's a pic:

    Il have more pics soon when I actually have it in my possession as its still up north until I can fetch it on Sunday.

    Needs a bloody good clean though as it looks older than Noah's ark inside but il soon get it looking shiny and new with a few added toys from eBay =D

    the weather has been amazing today! I've been so jealous of everyone cruising around with their hoods down and mines stuck 70 odd mile away! It will probably go cold again by the time I can drive it lol oh well, I'd still have a go with the roof down Cool

    Finally have it in my possesion now after a very painful weeks wait and wow! I love it! It's just so quirky and full of personality! I was a bit worried about the gear box though as it gets hot and makes a whirring noise like its dry, but after a few searches I've discovered that the heat is normal and I will be changing the boots as soon as I can along with some fresh gearbox oil. The most difficult part is figuring out what noises are problems and what are just because the cars old lol going to give it some love though and start giving it a service so I can start building some trust into its reliability.

    thanks for the advice and helping me decide to buy it, I just want to go out for a spin all the time now with the roof down =D

    Top down day today in Swansea. It's forecast a nice week and up to 20 degrees next Monday onwards. Fingers crossed for sunshine 😎☀
