    Is this oil OK?

     Planning on changing engine oil and filter, gearbox and LSD oils tomorrow.

    Local auto shop recommended Valvoline synthetic:-

    Syngard 10W40

    Duragear 75W85 API GL4 for gearbox

    Gear Oil LS High Performance SAE90 GL5 GL6 for LSD

    Any comments, suggestions, experience of these anyone?

    Can't see these being a problem. We don't see Valvoline in the UK but as long as it's fully synthetic and the right weight for the car then all is well.

    I use Silkolene, Pro-S 5w-40 for the engine  and Silktran Syn 5 75W-90 for gear and diff.

    Hi FR,

    Thanks for the feedback. Did the change last weekend and all seems fine.
