Past Event Norfolk Meet - Hot Summer Nights Run - 15th July

     Hi All Cool

I am pleased to announce the finishing touches have now been completed on the new summer version of last years Christmas Lights and City Sights Run.

Feedback after the winter version suggested it would make an excellent bi-annual monthly meet run as the city changes a great deal between summer and winter.

For anyone who was unable to make the Christmas Run, the highlights incuded: A 23 mile, hour long cruise through Norwich City - a great chance to capture the sights, sounds and smells of the City, whilst at the same showing off the cars, promoting the club, causing traffic chaos and generally having more fun!

The Meet starts at 8:00 and the run will be departing around 8:30 to give as many Eastern Region members the chance to get there as possible, it would be great to see some Fenland Fives and Essex Boys there joining in with the fun!

(Please note the Run start time if you plan to order food - Claire and I plan to be there a little earlier this month)

    Route directions here:

    City Nights Run Miles

    City Nights Run KM

And for those not fimiliar with the Norfolk meet location:

The Countryman PH, Tasburgh, on the A140 South of Norwich, NR15 1NS

Hope to see you all there

    Jamie

Well i'm not the kind to kiss and tell, but i've been seen in a mk2......

I would have loved to have done this run but wasn't planning on doing Norwich this month as it is the day after the F5 meet and I've got an expensive month all round this month what with Silverstone Classic. Sorry, gutted.

I'm not going to be able to make the run this month, It's a shame because I didn't manage to do the city lights run at christmas.  Money contraints are keeping me a little housebound for the rest of the month Sad

So, come on then, tell all.  Was it hot, sunny, what happened ?

Sorry I missed it but I was in Weston super-mare that evening, and parked up on the beach,! but sadly not having as much fun as we had last time we were all there....  No fun in a fwd diesel estate,

Well Rob managed to circum-navigate City hall the wrong way (same as last Xmas)

and inconsiderate roadworks caused a roadclosure so we fragmented quite a bit, but the sun shone and we had fun!Cool

    Weston Sup was cool!
