Hi Craig,
My Drivers side one did not work so I took it apart, gave all the contacts a nice clean, especially the copper bits, and it works now.
Seems unlikely, but its the cheapest option.

Fixed! I took the battery out for a bit and now it works fine.... weird.

I have a similar issue, I have changed the water pumo, the radiator, the thermostat rad cap and all the hoses I can find and I am still loosing the different between full and empty ever 2 weeks or so...
If you figure out what it is, I would be interested to know!

Hi all, As the title says, I need help.

I understand how you feel as I am in the same position. There is one way around the cost. I got a friend to teach me to weld, got a cheap little welding kit and an angle grinder and replace the rot when I find it. Not ideal as I work but the thought of getting rid of 'her' for a newer one.... well better the devil ...

Hey Grant, I had a similar problem with the rear of my car, and still have it when I go over bumps and such. I found I was missing these http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/brake-fitting-rear-p-958.html which kept the pads of the disk. I think they do front ones too.
