Hi Gazza, That is very easy. Pop the bonnet and simply pull up the rear edge of the cover`s using firm but gentle pressure, not so much to kink the lid but enough to bow the back edge upward. Don`t worry if you go a little too far as you can press them back down if need be. They sink over time by getting leand on when working on the car so tend to ...

soft top`s folded down for long spells just kills them, so if you buy a used hard top for £250 to £500, and then have to replace your soft top because it looks terrible when it goes back up at similar money it`s cost a bit. As much as a cheap old runner indeed or maybe.

Put some 15 inch wheel`s from a MX3 that i`m working on on, looked good but did`nt drive anything like as good with the 14 inch Daisy`s so they`ve gone back on. Plus, bought a very clean low mileage 323f mk1 as a stable mate for my 5. Great car to drive when not in the 5, with a large boot area, so got the best of all world`s now

Ha Ha ! Bought a very clean low miles Mk1 323f at the weekend which also has pop up`s, so if i`m short on any mx5 pop up`s i can just face them in the drive and get one of my kid`s to pretend to drive and pop. Fun for hour`s
