Rubed down the old flakey stone chip on one side, then wet and dried to reveal a solid sill!
Then repainted.

Cleared off the 6" of snow that was still covering mine and drove it to work tonight. Good fun.

I believe mazda used red primer on the SU colour.

It shouldn't matter as it should then overflow into the expansion bottle as pressure rises.
Check you can blow through the narrow tube from bottle to rad and it isn't blocked.

What does the temperature gauge do - the one to the right of the speedo? Is it sitting steady at roughly 11'o'clock or does it drop to 'cold' on a run with the heater on..?
