First saw him in 1980 and then several gigs after that and went Karting with him in the late 80's I think. He used to invite fans down to track days (when his career was going a bit downhill)  so had a great time meeting gazza (he always won the races  )  Saw him again on the pleasure principle and replica's mini ...

The boot carpet is as good as new and more importantly doesn't smell ...

I am now sat on the kitchen floor weighing up the dimensions of the carpet V the circular hole in the front of the washing machine......... If this goes wrong I could end up with a carpet that resembles a crisp packet..... Big Al

  • No good crying over spilt milk....

Well, a trip in the minx to take my young son to a footy match has resulted in a flask of coffee leaking onto the boot carpet along with the dreaded liquid MILK. For those who have experienced this you will know the incredible stench which comes after about 24hrs and then rapidly gets worse. Besides replacing the carpet does anyone have an ...

Call me old fashioned but 'Scotty mcdoodle' seemed a very nice man and an enthusiast in terms of classic cars so how could I deny him the thrills of owning a minx. Austin Healeys were his fetish however he now longed to be a mx owner so the deal was done and I said a sad farewell to monty as he turned north onto the m6. Missing ...

Dear Dr Eunos, As ever, you offer sound advice and echo my sentiment regarding the green goddess. There is the slight problem with the 'goddess' who sups like george best against my tea total french maid who can go 54miles to a gallon of ale. That said, old frenchie has some disturbing warning lights currently resembling ...

  • Dear Agony aunt....

Dear Mirian,  I currently own a mk1 and mk2 mx 5 along with a citreon xantia 1.9td which is obviously a complex arrangement. Given a recent change to my financial circumstances one of my  honeys has to go to. I love my mk 1 but she's getting on a bit and seen better days but she is still a great ride and ...
