Took mine for a drive over the Wrynose and Hardnott passes (Cumbria) - a really wild experience for a boy from the flatlands of East Anglia - then a high speed blast along the near-deserted A-roads from Ravenglass to Kendal ............... fantastic it's what having an MX is all about

Dunno what went wrong for us - we were at Saxstead Mill from 10.50 to 11.50 but didn't see any you. Went off to Aldeburgh on our own but couldn't find you there either - just a handful of American cars! The queues for fish and chips when we got there (about 12.20) were horrendous so after a quick look round for you all we headed off ...

Decided to take a solo run down to Aldeburgh today. Great drive from home near Debenham on surprisingly quiet roads. Arrived in Aldeburgh at about 1 o'clock .... now here comes the pont of my post ...... the queues for the chip shops were HUGE stretching way down the main street. Wise decision - we are near Saxted (one of the stopping-off points). The snow has settled here and is still falling. The roads themselves are OK but with a frost forecast for overnight it'd be "entertaining" out there tomorrow with rear wheel drive .
