I used a small strip of that Scotch tape on my roll bar, the stuff that's like Sellotape but matte finish. Did the trick, and easily replaced isf it wears out.

None, my Eunos is the first car I've had that originates from outside of northwestern Europe.

The MX5 does very well for a 20-year-old lightweight car, but star ratings are only relevant to size anyway, i.e. a massive three-star car is probably safer than a small five-star. If you get t-boned by a fast-moving car 50% heavier and taller than yours, you're in major trouble - the problem is that in an MX5 that's most other ...

I specifially mentioned OEM wheels to steer the OP towards 'cheap' rather than 'cheaply made'. I've never heard of quality issues on OEM wheels. You ...

The centre bore is the diameter of the hole in the middle of the wheel. The hub has a lip that fits inside it, so you can fit a wheel with a larger cente bore (with optional spigot rings to improve the fit) but not smaller. The MX5 has a bore of 54.1 so anything equal to, or bigger than that will fit.
However there are loads of cheap, ...
