  • Re: New car challenge...

It's not new and I may be mocked but having to get more seats for an oncoming 2nd child I'll be going for a Nissan Cube! available new in other markets so could be sourced (and possibly chewinjg up a much bigger section of that £80k than it should due to the crazy yen rate) from japan or the US thats what I'll be in ...

  • Re: Possible New south east member

Thanks all for the advice and nice to see someone so specialist so close! I'm sure I can persuade Mum to join the ranks once she's got the car as well and as she's a bit of a petrol head I'm sure she can be persuaded out to club meets!

This is where the not having moved bit comes in as if I had a garage we'd be keeping our 5 as a 3rd car but as it will have to live on the street for a while it is going to be be ...

[quote user="Snowman"] Fitted a interior light as the cabin ones are next to useless!!!! Decided that it was getting time to fit the light as the nights are drawing in.. Got this light from ebay, only a couple of quid, but it seems to do the job ok. Just wired into the cabin light and ran the wire up the windscreen pillar ...

  • Re: Blasted revving back again!

hell no! if I can avoid hooking it off I'll be grateful. I've dug out how to do it so it is on the list of things to do. Tonight could well se a trip to the generic out of town retail park for electronics components and carb cleaner. I will get to the bottom of this!!!

  • Re: Blasted revving back again!

No not tested it weigh a fault code tester. Would the fact it's sticking a bit come up as a fault? I could understand a dead one throwing a fault but does one that isn't quite working at it's best? Also is there any merit in taking it off and giving it a blast through with carb cleaner to try and loosen it off or is just swapping it ...
