  • Re: I want this !

I'd get a new boss mate....he is well out of order, he should let you have it over 4 months at least, is it worth loosing a valuable member of staff over a smashing looking car?......

  • Re: Kwik-fit and brakes

Not just them, i had new disc's and brake pads on a corsa recently.....2 weeks later i took the car back to the same place as it had an oil leak, which they repaired, and at the same time did a "Health check" on the car, and told me that the front disc's were down to 75%......it had only done about 600 miles on them, I ...

  • Re: Stalling & restart

On stalling if you apply handbrake, put into neutral, keep foot on clutch, restart, the time you get all that done will normally be the time required for the car to "think" it's OK to go again.....and it's the "DSA" way of restarting a car properly and safely !

I have been quoted £460. this includes taking off the plastic inside the wheel arches, cleaning under the car, ...

  • Re: Foot pump from Halfords

Your best bet is to buy a sturup pump, they last for years, are very quick, and go upto about 180 psi so you can inflate bike tyres/airbeds etc....and not need the legs of a bodybuilder to do it. They cost about £20-£30 and are great. look on the bay/Halfords....foot pumps are crap

  • Re: Feeling annoyed and ripped off

It's a disgrace that VW didn't give a plan of the fuses in the owners book......if they are always changing, and printing new books costs too much...why don't they have a "downloadable" sheet on their website so you can print one off yourself and stick it in your book? Ask them to give you a plan of your fuse ...
