When I was looking for my mx5 one of the cars I looked at was sitting at 36'000 but the dealer fobbed me off saying they were not sure about the history, I took the reg and checked with Mazda and it only had 1 service at 18'000 and as such the warranty would have been voided. Obviously the pads will be Mazda oem ones but the aftermarket discs are quite a bit cheaper. I've asked a few people and all say that as long as the pads are genuine Mazda then the cheaper discs are just as good...

I'm looking to replace the discs/pads all round in the near future, mx5 parts have a Mazda discs and also a cheaper aftermarket set of discs, anyone heard anything good or bad about the aftermarket ones? Cheers

Haha she will kill me if I start modding it!! Although I would like to get the ride height and geometry done, then maybe clear side repeaters... But just going to enjoy it for a while first :)
