MX-5 OC Forum

Hi I'm hoping one of the knowledgeable people on here can tell me whether my MX5 registered  in June 2005 is a MK2, 2.5 or 3 ? And once I've found that out, where's a good place to get the rear chrome rollbars from; are they easy to fit ? Thanks to anyone who can help :-)

 Hi I was really interested to read this thread; I got my MX5 1.8 six days ago and on the second day had a flat battery; I havent a clue about anything mechanical, I'm used to my car just starting when I turn the key.  I'm now really nervous in case I get another flat battery - I work shifts about 25 miles from home, so dont ...

Thank you all for your welcome posts; I'm just finding out how this site works so apologies if its wrong to answer this way!  Sadly I got taught a bad lesson about showing off - a flat battery............luckily colleagues gave me a jump start, I think I'm going to get a mechanic friend to check her over though. 

How long have I wanted one of these; and now its mine - fab !  Silver and glorious, loving her lots.  The decision was made just after I found out I'm going to be a grandma........friends think its the coolest granny scooter ever.  I hope she's reliable - my only car and I travel around fifty miles round trip ...
