Apart from the standard tyre, tool roll, & battery I have a roll of gaffer tape, WD40 & some zip ties & a light weight Hiviz coat (changed to a weather proof one in the winter).

I'd like to pop over (depending on my work roster though) & I might be able to persuade my Dad to bring the P5 Coupe out, he's Railway mad & lives in Winterton-On-Sea so it's not too far to travel.

A guy at Compomotive once told me when I asked about wheel sizes for my other silly hatch that light weight cars need some side wall compliance to allow the car to move around & grip the road rather than skipping about everywhere, that's why lightweight single seaters don't have laccy band tyres. :D

I've had the same problem on my new (to me) 17 year old car, tyres are in good nick, I dropped the pressures from the 30psi the dealer had blown them up to, to 26psi as per the door sticker & had the wheels rebalanced but I still get wobbles/ vibrations at speed.
So it looks like new dampers for me too. :(
Oh well I might treat her ...
