I was on this trackday

I spend several weeks of the year working in the US - mainly Boston and Chicago. I see a few Mk 1's about but I've never seen Mk 2's or Mk 3's. I just assumed that MX5's would be as ubiquitous in the US as they are here in the West Mids - not the case from my experience!

Damp and slippy morning - a few people were falling off tarmac and ending up in the kitty litter.
I went there not intending to drive as I had an issue with the car running hot after a coolant change. Did some fettling on my motor and decided that I just had to go for an afternoon session

He certainly was a character. Conversation soon got round to Colorado and Washnigton State legalisation of pot and he did have a habbit of talking to his Jack Russell
He spoke fondly of his car though, so hats off to him!
