Hi there,
Is anyone aware of cure for an irritating noise which comes from behind the drivers seat (above your right shoulder. This is where I at least think it is coming from. To describe it would be a metallic noise, almost a “tinging” noise when driving over uneven surfaces. This is for my 56 plate MX5 MK3.

Thanks Rich, I took my car to Mazda and they thought it could be clutch drag as you mention but haven't really come across it. They did however put my car up and test it - when the car made the noise the rear wheels would turn slightly, is this the clutch drag you referred to? Hi Guys,
Still getting used to my MX-5 MK3 and wondered if anyone finds it more tough to get into 5th gear than the others? There is no clunk or anything you just need to apply more effort than 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear.
