10 hours of driving & £3 a pint at the bar in Fishers Hotel. It's a good start to the weekend.

RS washed, levels checked so just got packing to do. Ready for stupid o'clock tomorrow for the drive to Pitlochry. The weather on my phone shows sunny showers on Sunday at the moment and 19 degrees, but that seems to change daily. It's forcasting a wet drive up.

Can you post a picture of the clip and where it is fitted? I think the part you want is part number N002-32-186, which is what your alternative parts guy said. That is a figure of 8 shaped clip that goes round the steering rack body and one of the power steering pipes. Looks like it comes with a pair of screws and a rubber insulator too.

If your car has ABS then it should have an electric aerial (UK spec). Is the mast one piece or does it look like a conventional retracting type aerial that is thinner at the top than the bottom?

The VIN is clearly visible (by design) through the windscreen of every Mazda produced since about 1998. In what way is it considered sensitive?

The ABS ECU is part of the hydraulic unit which is under the bonnet near the washer bottle. Has 6 or so greeny colour pipes comig from it. how handy are you around cars? You may be able to confirm the cause of the fault yourself with a multimeter. Are you able to read the ABS fault codes? There was a feature on how to do this in Soft Top Hardtop a ...
