Normally the car just gets flatted down and sprayed (which works fine). The thing to watch with bare metal is that it rusts almost instantly due to moisture in the atmosphere, so if the car is being sent for spraying they will need to sand it all down again immediately before primer.

no .... i just stripped the car, Scott is responsible now for taking it back.
so far no rust found what so ever and no repairs ... Yay

There are 4 connectors from the reverse switch, there is also a neutral switch and a earth bond.
