I would give MX5Parts a call and ask them what is in the kit.

I think more to the point, those who only drive them at the weekend and / or summer only!  They are meant to be driven everyday!

I have no problem with a harnessed dog, and yes it is ilegal for a dog to be free in any car hence the cages etc. The law does not care if the dog gets hurt or killed only other road users.  

Sorry to be the kill joy but that has to be a wind up right? Not only is it daft, it is illegal, and dangerous! If you did crash then the dog would hit a hard dash pad, or you. The cause of the crash could be the dog moving in your way..... I could go on and on and I bet the police would too. Sorry just my opinion. My advice, get the car and ...

MX5Parts are selling the genuine Mazda Air Con kit and state it is for 1998 to 2003 so there must have been a change around 2004. http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/conditioning-complete-mk225-2003-p-3085.html May be Robbie can help.
