I have a 3 friends with the same issue, Apple are useless about this as they refuse to admit a Hardware issue and will not repair unless under warranty (which suprisingly most fail just outside!)
Im just waiting for mine to fail as it inevitabily will and off I go to HTC or somewhere else. no more Iphones for me!

Well we were on the way and then we hit a 2 hour traffic jam on the M3. We were that stationary I got out of the car and wondered around for a while!
